YES Day

I picked up this book for my nephew, Malachi's, first birthday....It is about a little boy who gets one day a year to ask for whatever he wants and the answer will be YES.  Partly because whenever Malachi comes to visit Auntie Tonya the answer will always be yes.  And partly because its my passive-aggressive way of reminding his parents to say yes often.

It made me think about what my "Yes Day" requests would include...

Can I have brie on toast with fresh strawberries for breakfast?  Can I wear my yoga pants all day?  Can I get a pedicure?  Make that a spa pedicure.  Can I meet Bono today?  Can I snuggle my kids in bed all morning?  Can we go to the Oprah show?  Make sure it is her Favorite Things day please.  Can I see Malachi today?  Can I nurse a mojito all day?  Or three.  Can Ryan and I go to the movies?  Can I have chocolate for supper?  Can I spend $500 at New York and Company?  And another $1K at Pottery Barn?  And while we're at it, can we create world peace and cure alzheimers?
