10

You're supposed to do 10 photos in 10 hours on the 10th of the month.  (Plaid Sheep, I love you and thanks! (via A Bit of Sunshine) ).  But you know how I feel about rules, or really any sort of guideline on how to do anything.  Here's 9 plus 1 photo in 10ish minutes on the 11th.

I'm already in love with this practice....so much to think about the metaphor these photos are and what they say about me and my home and my brain and siggggggggggggggghhhhhh...

I will just breathe in and out and let it be my prayer of thanks for all that God has given.
God is so good.

 and so here we go...

Eva discovered the free books rack at the library, so every week she brings us each a present.  Here's mine this week.  Feminist theory on how to be a real mother.  How to embrace them both.  Proud mama moment #1...what a wise lady I'm raising!

Now that I think about it, the Buzz sure sleeps with a lot of color.  How does he sleep!?
Maybe we need to feng shui his bedroom?

Jane made this lamp for Eva's room.  She sleeps with it on all night.  Speaking of feng shui.

Liza's wedding is this Saturday!  I don't care if the mountains cry out for me to take them off, I'm wearing these sun-up to sun-down.  I'm in love.  Also out of my mind excited that the festivities start tomorrow morning and include dinners and manis and pedis and Jodi and parties and rehearsals and new friends and oh yea, two people saying "yes please I do"!

This is the lone photo on my windowsil for the last two years.  It was taken of Eva at a wedding two years ago.  It speaks to me and for me every single day as my prayer for her.  To be happy and free and independent and looking up! I know you're sick of hearing about it, but going gluten-free has been the miracle we longed for.  I look at this photo now with a deep deep deep breath of gratitude.
