Liza Jane is off the market!
It was too busy and too fun to pause to take pictures. Jodi grabbed my camera and got a few. These are for you, Shelese! They will have to do until I can post some from the photographer. She was crazy beautiful! Just stunning.
This doesn't do it justice....her dress was incredible. We went to 3 fittings, each time more excited than the last to say hello to the dress.
This one is my favorite. It shows how relaxed and herself she was the whole evening. She posed when she spied Jodi with the camera.
Spending time with her again was a huge treat. She flew out from PA for the big weekend. We stayed up until 3 am talking about life and how darn complicated it is. She is one of those life-long friends that makes me ache with gratitude.
Ok, I know the weekend was SO not about me, but it really was so great to just get to be with the girls. Manis and pedis and hair and out on the town and slumber parties. We didn't know how good we had it in college when it was this 24/7.
Can I just indulge one moment and say that I loved my hair? This was it at the end of the night when it had fallen a lot. I had a bump high enough to make Snookie jealous.
And as promised, I wore the shoes all night long. I have the blisters to prove it. Totally worth it. I caught someone else who likes them too...
Sage makes this face and not so quietly begs me to reconsider when I mention that maybe we could do this again next weekend.
Ryan was a stud....a bachelor with 3 kids and a mortgage while I was out for 3 days. I don't want it all to be over, but sigh, I do love routine. So here we go again.....hello Monday. And happy marriage Liza and Mark. Truly deeply happy for you!!! (And have fun in the Dominican Republic, you lucky ducks.)
