Packing Heat

These heat packs are selling like crazypants...which is fortunate because I went a little fabric nuts and am making them like its my tick.

You can find them at Lincoln Perk.  Or contact me...I'll ship them or drop them off, or you can stop by and pick what you like.  They make great stocking stuffers and teacher gifts.  Or just buy them for yourself.  Hey, there's no shame...I sleep with three.

$5 for the big ones (measure 5x10 inches).  $2 for the little (measure 3x4 inches).

Hurry.  My family is about to take my sewing machine hostage because they have this crazy notion about food and clean laundry.

A little about them.....

Click  here to see the time I gave a bunch away - because everyone should have one.  Or five.

They are filled with dry rice and hold up to hundreds of microwave reheats.  I drop essential oils onto them over and over.

The kids sleep with a heat pack every night.  They are magical like a binky or lovey - comforting them and making their eyelids heavy.

I heat mine - with peppermint and lavendar oils - the minute I get home from work.

And we keep the cool packs in the freezer.  I don't know how much they actually soothe the stubbed toe or bumped knee or forehead that got walloped with your sister's umbrella....but they do soothe the ego and  make you ready to play again.

This is what my children do while I make them. For real..

When you figure the time spent, and the chaos in this house while they are made, I'm very much not turning a profit.  But these packs are the bomb-diggity and probably best of all, they make us a little nicer to ourselves.
